DISRUPTIVE respects copyright. If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, this page explains how to notify us and what happens next.
01 · Designated contact

Send DMCA notices to the designated contact below.
Copyright / DMCA
Designated contact for copyright notices. Include the article URL when writing about a specific story.
02 · A valid notice
What to include.
To be actionable, a notice should include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material on our site claimed to be infringing, with the URL.
- Your name, address, and email so we can reach you.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
03 · Counter-notice
If you believe we removed too much.
If material of yours was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice with the same contact details: identification of the removed material, a good-faith statement, and your consent to jurisdiction.
04 · Good faith
The standard we hold.
We act on valid notices promptly and in good faith. Misuse of the takedown process — knowingly false claims — is itself unlawful.
