DISRUPTIVE / ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility · Built in, not bolted on

Everyone reads.

DISRUPTIVE is built to be readable by everyone. This page states what the site does for accessibility today, what it does not yet do, and how to tell us when something fails.

01 · What works today

The concrete measures in place.

A skip link on every page jumps straight to the main content.

Pages use semantic landmarks — header, navigation, main, and footer — so assistive technology can orient itself.

The mobile navigation toggle is keyboard-operable and announces its state.

Body text and headline colors meet AA contrast against their backgrounds.

Type is set in relative units, so the whole layout scales cleanly with browser text resizing.

The decorative waveform animation respects prefers-reduced-motion.

  • No autoplay audio or video anywhere on the site.
  • No CAPTCHAs, no timed interactions, no keyboard traps.

02 · Known limits

Honest about the gaps.

Article pages carry the same landmarks, contrast, and reduced-motion treatment as the rest of the site.

03 · Report a barrier

We fix what you find.

If you hit an accessibility barrier on this site, write to [email protected] with the page URL and what happened. We treat barrier reports like corrections: fix fast, say what changed.
